Thoughts on bipolarity, stigma, recovery, and the internal weather of being human
Hi I’m Lucas! I’m a passionate mental health advocate with lived experience as someone neurodivergent.
I write from lived experience at the intersection of bipolarity, trauma, neurodivergence, and recovery.
This space and writing exists for nuance, the in-between states, the ones that resist flattening, easy labels, and black-and-white thinking.
A few statements I believe:
Mental health is not a destination, it’s something we move through like the weather
There is no “normal mind,” only different ways of being human and thinking
Healing is not linear, change is the only constant, and recovery is possible
No one improves in isolation; connection is essential to healing
Thanks for being here, I wish you good health and mental wellbeing :)
